Seismic Engineering Team
Engineering is, without doubt, one of the most challenging, yet rewarding, varied and diverse jobs in the world. What is fun for us is that this gives us the opportunity to grow as individuals working to figure out how to overcome the myriad of seismic MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) problems – as a team – to build commercial buildings. Engineering is the field that can solve the most impactful of our problems in the world – and we love what we do!

Tim Lindfelt, P.E.
Owner, Principal Engineer and CEO

Bernie Tsan
Sr Design Engineer
- What I enjoy most working with subcontractors: Working closely with MEP subcontractor introduces us to the highly congested world of construction. What we draw in Autocad may not fit in the real world out in the job site. And when we work closely with the subcontractors that are actually building the supports, we as “behind the desk” engineers will gain additional construction experiences that we would not get otherwise from just sitting behind the desk.

- When not working, I like to tinker around the house. I use to tinker around in the garage a lot with my cars, but these days, I’ll just mow the lawn or take my dogs out for a 2nd walk.
Keith Gumieny
Design Engineer
- What I enjoy most about working with subcontractors: The direct insight they provide into on-site conditions, which helps me tailor my engineering designs to their real-world needs – something that can sometimes be missed from behind the desk. I also enjoy seeing photos from the field; it’s exciting to watch my drawings come to life in actual installations.
